Architects of Invention to split
Architects of Invention announced that the firm will split into two separate practices, starting January 1st.

Former Architects of Invention will continue to run out of the firm's current offices in Moscow and London, but now will be known as AI Studio. Anton Khmelnitskiy will run that firm. Nikoloz Japaridze, will operate a separate practice.

Khmelnitskiy says the partners decided to separate ways because they had different long-term goals. AI Studio will continue to expand the firm's presence internationally, and focus on completing 2 of the firms award-winning projects currently on site in Moscow – Tatlin Apartments and Ordynka Residences.

Architects of Invention was co-founded by Nikoloz Japaridze and Anton Khmelnitskiy 6 years ago and designed several notable projects, including Tbilisi Prosecutors Office, Pharmaceutical HQ in Moscow and Luna Rise in Birmingham.
